Winter

Scott Endsley

My music is heavily influenced by the colorful sounds of the sixties and the seventies, but is fused with many contemporary genres.

This album is the third installment in the collection of my best songs from the period of 1977-1996. Some of the tracks are a bit experimental in nature such as "Take Me To The Author," and "Under The Rainbow," however most of the other songs are some of my most commercial efforts ever, and are indicative of youth and its innocence, simplicity, and naivety which I am grateful was successfully captured. Contributing Musicians and backup singers include Mark Wilson, Terry Gresham, Tony Archer, and Barby Endsley. Now that this trilogy is complete, I will focus on new material which I am currently creating and some of it is my most innovative and best songs that I have ever produced. I will be releasing a new album in the summer of 2016 with the tentative title, "Familiar Strangers." Please keep up with the updates at my web site at www.scottendsley.com and sign up to my mailing list.

Oblivion Highway

Scott Endsley

Folk, Folkrock, Rock, Pop, Light Rock, Country, Folk Country, Rockabilly, Blues, Rhythm & Blues

I began writing songs when I was 16 years old, back in 1974. I've written well over 200 songs over the years; however, I never had the time to pursue the music business when I was younger because I had a well paying job, and I did not want to live under a bridge until I got a contract! This album, 'Oblivion Highway,' is a first of three albums that make up a trilogy of albums with songs I wrote and recorded in the 1970's, 80's, & 90's. In all there are going to be 72 of my best recorded songs on all three albums combined. The two other albums, 'Honesty in Motion,' and 'Winter,' are to be released soon to follow. My genres consist of Folk, Folkrock, Country, Rockabilly, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, and Blues. The 23 songs on this album are among the favorite songs of my peers, and audiences to whom I've performed for. I am in the process of writing new material which will be available soon! I hope you enjoy my music as much as I enjoyed creating it... Contributing Backup Singers and musicians on this album include, Terry Gresham, Mark Wilson, Tony Archer, & Lori Medina. Honesty in Motion

Scott Endsley

Folk, Folk Rock, Country Folk, Progressive Folk, Rock, Rock-a-Billy, Pop

I've been a songwriter most of my life. I'm heavily influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and The Beatles. My music is reminiscent of these artists, but is very eclectic. Though these songs were recorded from 1977 to 1988, this album contains some of the best music I've ever written such as the title track, and my favorite song of all time, Tears Are Free. It opens with an instrumental piece called, A Painting In F#minor, and then begins one of the first songs I ever wrote: Big Bad Carol. And the album ends with a nonsense song called, Yes I Had No Coffee, which was recorded totally improv. These songs are all very different from one another. What you might dislike at first will begin to grow on you! Like the album before this one, Oblivion Highway, this collection is part of a trilogy of my old music from the 70's, 80's & 90's. The third Album, Winter, will be the final collection of old songs as well... Enjoy! Contributing background singers and musicians include Terry Gresham, Mark Wilson, Bryan Boyd, and David Anderson.
